Magooby's Joke House: A Comedy Club with Great Food and Entertainment in Timonium, MD

The place was great and enough room to move around without feeling cramped. Waitress was efficient and kept discreet while the show was going on. Great comedians and their crowd interactions were on point. Thanks for a wonderful night.

My first visit was excellent! This is a well-designed venue that has lots of seats but still manages to feel intimate, with great views thanks to tiered seating. There is a two item minimum, and the menu offered nice options (I had a delicious panini and a beer). The friendly servers did a wonderful job (Thanks, Kayla!). Opening acts were funny and the headliner was hilarious. It may be easy to stream comedy specials from home, but it cannot compare to watching that magic happen live! We could all use more laughter in our lives, so support live comedy.

Nice place to “get your laugh on” with up and coming comedians. I went on a Saturday night at 9:30 pm for the second show. The first show started at 7:00 pm. Understand that there is a two order minimum per person so leave a little room for a drink or a late bite. Your seating is chosen for you upon entering. Make sure you call before you go, even though there was ample seating on the day we went. Overall 4 stars!

It’s a little cramped inside and getting around could be a slight hassle. Otherwise, waiters and other staff were nice. Went for a comedy show (Michael Blaustein) and my girlfriend and I did enjoy ourselves.

Great place to have a lot of fun! Went to see Andrew Dice Clay here. It was our first time and won't be our last. The staff was great. The food was delicious and going to the Wits End before the show for warm up drinks was essential. Me and the Mister arrived early to check in and we received awesome seats- FRONT ROW CENTER! (We snuck up on the stage for a fun photo-op) Though looking around the venue I didn't see where there would be any bad seats. The layout was pretty impressive for a clear view no matter where you sat. It's a small intimate setting that didn't overcrowd somehow. Dice was HILARIOUS as I knew he would be. Me and the Mister really had a great time. We'll definitely come again.

This establishment is one of the best experiences for comedy. On my latest visit, I left without regret. The efficiency in how they seat people, and provide customer service is seamless. There really is no bad seat, but they pack you in. Big purses and bags will be burdensome. Come comfortable, food and drinks priced reasonable, and quality matches. This establishment really takes the time to make sure you have a full experience.

Love coming here - they’ve had some pretty big name comics in the past year and I’ve already got tickets for some shows coming up in 2026. My only complaint is the wait for drink service can be long since everyone gets seated at the same time. I know the servers are doing their best, I wish they had a different system though. Even a QR code at the table for ordering would be helpful- I often want to order more but the server doesn’t come by frequently enough.

Had a great time! Best layout of any comedy club I've been to and its not in the city! Only downside was the drinks were very pricey. With that being said I'm still looking forward to going back!
